At least it was important enough for Roscoe to have kept upon Louise's death, and since was saved among the family letters. Did Louise in fact have a piano? I believe there is a piano in the parlor photos of her early twentys. If not a piano, then perhaps the statement was for a music purchase. At least we know that music was in her life in some way.
